Java Developer

Overview

In this role you will build and evolve a programmatic DOOH platform that powers millions of digital advertising moments. You’ll work on modern Java microservices (Java 21, Spring Boot) deployed on Kubernetes in AWS, with CI/CD and observability tooling, aiming for high availability. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable features that shape digital outdoor experiences. This is an opportunity to contribute to a world-class ad delivery platform and influence product roadmap in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new features for the DOOH platform to support roadmap capabilities
• Collaborate with developers, tech leads and product owners to ensure integration across services
• Adhere to coding standards, ensure high quality, testable and maintainable code
• Participate in deployment to production and assist in troubleshooting and platform maintenance as part of a shared team
• Contribute to platform evolution to support scale and reliability

Key requirements

• Strong Java backend experience (Java 21) and Spring Boot
• Experience with event-driven architectures and pub/sub systems (Kafka or AWS SNS/SQS)
• Focus on writing well-tested, observable code
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS, EKS, Kubernetes)
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn across Global’s ecosystem
