Category Manager – Facilities

Overview

In this role you will lead the firm’s facilities sourcing and category management efforts, shaping an enterprise-wide strategy that drives cost efficiency, supplier performance, and compliant, sustainable procurement. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners and critical suppliers to enable global operations and scalable growth. The position focuses on transforming supplier landscapes, optimizing contracts and processes, and delivering measurable business value. Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize a global facilities portfolio across hundreds of suppliers
• Define and execute a long-term facilities sub-category strategy aligned with business objectives
• Build cross-functional partnerships and supplier relationships to enable day-to-day operations globally
• Drive sourcing innovation and efficiency to reduce complexity and unlock economies of scale
• Rationalize supplier landscape and optimize costs without compromising quality/experience
• Improve contract structures, ensure invoice accuracy and audit readiness
• Lead supplier performance management and share best practices to enhance category capabilities
• Contribute to a scalable, sustainable procurement strategy and knowledge-sharing across the firm

Key requirements

• 5+ years of experience in facilities sourcing, category management, or procurement
• Advanced degree preferred but not required; Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong analytical capability with Excel models and category performance reporting
• Ability to produce high-quality decision-support deliverables (sourcing docs, contract summaries, presentations)
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence across functions and senior stakeholders
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building across geographies
