Director – Category Manager (EXM – LCO/Sterile)

Overview

In this role you own and shape Teva’s EXM-LCO/Sterile category strategy, partnering with sourcing, external manufacturing and other stakeholders to deliver multi-year value. You’ll lead category planning, supplier relationships, and performance improvements to support regulated manufacturing. The position blends hands-on execution with building category capability in a complex environment. This is a pivotal role for driving long-term cost optimization and supplier excellence within LCO/Sterile.

Responsibilities

• Own and define category strategies for LCO/Sterile technologies aligned with business needs
• Develop 3–5 year savings and improvement roadmaps and support demand planning
• Lead RFx, negotiations, and contract awards in collaboration with Strategic Sourcing
• Define supplier management strategies and drive performance improvement programs
• Track category performance and value delivery, coordinating with Finance for targets
• Provide market and supplier intelligence to shape strategy and sourcing decisions
• Support capability development and standardization across category management activities
• Coach and inspire team members to strengthen LCO/Sterile category management capabilities

Key requirements

• Experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement in regulated industries
• Experience managing External Manufacturing (EXM), CMO/CDMO relationships, or strategic supplier networks
• Proven track record leading sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and cross-functional Projects
• Strong understanding of Sterile, Liquids, Creams & Ointments (LCO) manufacturing or outsourced environments
• Bachelors degree; 10+ years in Procurement/Category Management/External Manufacturing or related disciplines
