Head of Project Management

Overview

In this role you will lead the Data Centre Project Management function across Europe, driving delivery for hyperscale and mission-critical sites while developing the team and client relationships. You will shape the sector strategy, oversee complex programmes from feasibility to handover, and maintain strong governance and commercial controls. This position offers impact through growing the data centre offering and steering high-value programs for key clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure profitable, on-time delivery and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Centre Project Management team and define sector strategy
• Oversee complex programmes from feasibility through commissioning and handover
• Act as Project Director on major client commissions
• Build and develop a high-performing project management team
• Manage senior client relationships and key accounts
• Lead bids, proposals and business development activity
• Maintain project governance, risk, programme and commercial controls
• Take responsibility for team performance, utilisation, revenue and profitability

Key requirements

• Director, Head of Project Management or equivalent experience in construction or project management consultancy
• Strong track record delivering data centre or mission-critical projects
• Experience across hyperscale, colocation or enterprise data centre environments
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and major programmes
• Demonstrable experience winning work and growing client accounts
• Strong commercial, financial and stakeholder-management skills
• Degree-qualified in a relevant construction or engineering discipline
• Chartered status with APM, RICS, CIOB or equivalent is preferred
