Civil Engineer

Overview

In this role you will provide technical design and drafting support to civil engineering teams delivering Property and Defence projects. You will contribute to planning, development, documentation and implementation of civil infrastructure from concept through construction. You will work in a cross-disciplinary environment to produce efficient, safe designs aligned with client standards and quality procedures. Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate design documentation
• Develop and maintain digital models and drawings
• Support design reviews and quality assurance
• Assist with constructed services
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, project managers and multidisciplinary specialists
• Deliver project outputs efficiently, safely and to client standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement of workflows
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders

Key requirements

• 7–10 years of industry experience in Building and Property sector
• Commercial experience in Australia on medium/large building civil projects
• Eligibility to obtain Australian Defence security clearance
• Proficient in delivering multiple concurrent projects
• Experience with earthworks, roadworks, stormwater, and utilities
• Experience with BIM and 3D modelling project delivery
• Familiarity with point cloud surveys is highly regarded
• Proficiency in 12D and Civil 3D
