Overview
In this role you will support the Professions portfolio by delivering risk management guidance to professional services firms. You will analyse claims data to spot trends, advise on mitigating exposures, and collaborate with underwriters on risk and regulatory issues. You’ll engage clients through seminars and direct visits, shaping how firms understand and manage risk. This position offers a blend of field engagement, content development, and cross-functional coordination that directly supports Travelers’ risk management proposition.

Responsibilities
- Develop and promote the value-added risk management proposition for the Professions portfolio
- Advise customers on risk management and respond to information requests
- Coordinate and conduct client visits with underwriters for insureds with high premiums
- Visit clients and prepare reports on risk exposure, claims history, and risk reduction opportunities
- Provide input to underwriters on perceived future risk of client firms
- Research and prepare materials (Gazette columns, solicitor’s bulletin items, articles) for internal/external audiences
- Research, prepare, and deliver seminars for clients and external bodies
- Create risk management materials (factsheets, best practice guides) and assist with legal/professional practice advice
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements
- University degree and/or CII Certification
- Working knowledge of insurance/underwriting
- Understanding of regulatory rules and internal policies
