In this role you will drive financial planning and governance for the T&O Office in Santander Digital Services, partnering with senior leaders to enable strategic decisions and efficiency. You will own budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking, while shaping governance and risk practices. You’ll deliver insights for investment decisions and drive cost optimisation in a complex financial services environment. Responsibilities

• Owner of budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Manage end-to-end financial performance tracking including P&L analysis and risk/opportunity identification
• Develop and enhance financial control and governance frameworks
• Provide strategic financial analysis and scenario modelling to support investments and planning
• Coordinate governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement across teams
• Drive cost optimisation and continuous improvement with strong risk and control practices
• Ensure accurate capacity planning and alignment with Workforce Strategy

Key requirements

• Significant experience in financial management, planning, forecasting and control in a complex environment (ideally financial services)
• Experience managing budgets, P&L, financial reporting and senior stakeholder engagement
• Experience leading optimisation or transformation initiatives and improving governance frameworks

• Stakeholder management and influencing
• Organisation, prioritisation and coordination across multiple teams
• Strategic thinking and autonomous work style
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling including forecasting and scenario modelling
• Budgeting, P&L management, financial control and governance tools
• Experience with financial systems, data quality improvement and performance reporting in a regulated environment
