Data Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design and deliver high-performance big data solutions for clients, leveraging cloud-based architectures and modern tooling. You’ll work across multiple projects as a consultant, helping clients translate data needs into scalable pipelines and analytics capabilities. Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end big data applications for batch and real-time processing in a multi-tenant cloud environment
• Develop tools for data acquisition, ETL/ELT, and management of large and complex datasets
• Contribute to all development lifecycle stages: design, build, deploy, monitor, and operation
• Research and experiment with emerging technologies to bring business value through early adoption

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Computer Science or related IT discipline
• 1-2 years’ experience with big data projects using SQL and Python
• Experience with AWS and/or Databricks
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex information to diverse audiences
• Solid understanding of Python for data engineering (Pandas, NumPy, file handling, JSON)
• Knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, RDS, CDK or Terraform, DynamoDB)
• Awareness of AI-enabled data engineering approaches (Agentic AI)
• Willingness to travel locally for business
