Site Engineer

Overview

You will work on permanent site engineer roles across Yorkshire, taking ownership of setting out and surveying on live sites and ensuring dimensional accuracy. You will interpret drawings and technical information to support quality control and inspections, collaborating with contractors and specialists. This role offers involvement across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and refurbishment projects, with opportunities to contribute to multi-site delivery and site safety. A practical, field-focused mindset and timely, accurate reporting will be key to success.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying on live construction sites
• Confident reading of drawings, specifications and technical information
• Site control, dimensional accuracy, QA records and inspections

Key requirements

• CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence
• Time served; degree, HNC or HND is useful
• Experience in RC frame, groundworks and drainage, earthworks, structures, fit-out or refurbishment (any of these)
