Resource Management Specialist

Overview

In this role you will support day-to-day staffing and deployment of consultants across client engagements. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders and the consultant population to understand development needs and project requirements. You will provide staffing recommendations that balance business priorities with individual growth. You will monitor capacity, utilisation, and project demand while supporting performance and talent development processes. You will act as a trusted point of contact for the consultant population and wider business stakeholders, contributing to a client-focused, growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day staffing and deployment of consultants across client engagements
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and employees to understand development needs and project requirements
• Provide staffing recommendations that balance business priorities with employee development
• Monitor resource capacity, utilisation, and project demand
• Support performance and professional development processes, including promotions, reviews, onboarding, and talent planning
• Act as a trusted point of contact for your consultant population and wider business stakeholders

Key requirements

• 2 years minimum experience in staffing, resource management, workforce planning, talent deployment, recruitment operations, or a similar people-focused role
• Experience within a mid-sized to global consultancy, professional services firm, or other fast-paced commercial environment is highly desirable
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance people and business needs
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Confident communicator with a proactive and collaborative approach
