In this Programme Lead role, you drive end-to-end delivery of a strategic transformation, aligning multiple products and workstreams into a clear path to business value. You operate at governance level to keep momentum without slowing teams, and you lead a small delivery leadership group to ensure outcomes are realised. You will maintain a cohesive programme narrative for executives and stakeholders, focusing on delivery confidence and measurable impact. Responsibilities

• Own overall programme success, delivering outcomes, benefits and strategic objectives
• Act as single point of accountability for programme performance and recovery when needed
• Maintain a joined-up view across products and delivery streams
• Provide a coherent programme narrative across products, workstreams, technology layers and outcomes
• Drive an agile, product-led, outcome-based delivery direction emphasizing business value
• Set direction and priorities and enable teams to decide the best approach
• Maintain alignment across multiple product backlogs for a shared programme outcome
• Protect delivery pace and quality throughout the programme lifecycle
• Manage the critical path against the benefits case and track benefit realisation
• Ensure architecture and data flows are understood and managed as part of the critical path
• Lead and develop two Senior Project Managers and coordinate matrix resources across delivery teams
• Oversee sequencing, cross-product dependencies and legacy exit roadmaps
• Maintain programme-level budget oversight and flag financial risks early
• Establish just-enough governance and actively manage risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and translate priorities into delivered outcomes
• Provide a credible, evidence-based programme narrative to leadership

Key requirements

• Programme leadership experience in complex, multi-stream transformation programmes
• Proven ability to drive agile, product-led delivery with focus on value
• Strong track record of managing dependencies, sequencing, financials and large-scale change
• Experience enabling and developing project and delivery managers in a matrix setup
• Ability to operate with proportionate governance at senior stakeholder level
• Technical and commercial awareness including architecture, data and modern delivery approaches
• Decisive leadership with comfort navigating ambiguity
• Credible at executive level and trusted across product, engineering and business
