Associate – Insurance Disputes – Exeter

Responsibilities

• Advise on insurance coverage, interpretation issues and liability claims
• Handle subrogation matters and personal injury claims (Claimant and Defendant)
• Represent clients through litigation, arbitration and ADR
• Advise on contractual issues relating to insurance disputes
• Assist with civil litigation matters when required
• Take client instructions, attend meetings and manage compliance procedures
• Progress cases through litigation and consider ADR options
• Conduct legal research and prepare written advice
• Participate in team marketing and profile-raising initiatives
• Ensure files comply with Lexcel procedures and client service standards
