Overview
In this Bristol-based role, you will support a leading national Real Estate team within the Housebuilding & Strategic Land practice, advising major developers and landowners on high-value residential projects. You’ll manage a mix of acquisitions and transactional work while fostering key client relationships and collaborating with cross-functional specialists. This position offers exposure to complex arrangements and progression opportunities within a supportive, ambitious team. You will help drive growth by contributing to business development and delivering high-quality client service.

Responsibilities
- Support land acquisitions and transactions across the South/South West and nationally
- Manage day-to-day conduct of deals and drive efficient progression
- Advise housebuilders, promoters, developers, landowners, and local authorities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Assist with business development and team growth
- Collaborate with planning, construction, environmental, agricultural, tax, and litigation specialists
Key requirements
- 3-8+ years’ PQE in residential development, strategic land, or broader real estate
- Strong track record for housebuilders, promoters, developers, or landowners
- Excellent technical skills and commercial awareness
- Established or growing relationships in the regional development market
- Experience with contracts, options, and promotion agreements
- Exposure to complex transactions (hybrid agreements, land pooling, etc.) and VAT/SDLT considerations
