Overview

In this SEO Manager role at Performics, you will lead strategic organic search programs for key accounts, blending technical rigor with creative insight and data analysis. You’ll manage and mentor a team, own end-to-end delivery from roadmaps to reporting, and stay ahead of search trends including AI and LLM developments. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive SEO strategies (technical, on-page, off-page, local) aligned to client goals
  • Lead technical audits, site migrations, and content optimization with QA
  • Line-manage and upskill SEO Executives and provide mentorship
  • Collaborate with Paid Search, Social, Content and CRO teams to embed SEO insights
  • Define and track success metrics using analytics tools and translate data into recommendations
  • Maintain day-to-day client relationships, present insights and roadmaps
  • Research and share new ideas (AI features, voice search, technical innovations) to keep offerings cutting-edge
  • Partner with Account Director to refine workflows and scale best practices across teams

Key requirements

  • Hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency with enterprise clients
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS/JS and their impact on crawling/indexing/UX
  • Proficient with SEO and marketing toolsets (GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Lumar, Similarweb)
  • Data analysis skills: dashboards, ROI, forecasting, stakeholder reporting
  • Leadership and communication: experience managing junior staff and presenting to clients
  • Strategic thinking with multi-layered SEO plans and cross-channel integration
  • Learning agility: keeping up with algorithm updates, AI-driven search
  • Bachelor’s degree; Google Analytics IQ, Semrush or Moz certifications beneficial
