Overview
In this role you will manage a diverse personal tax portfolio within a respected Private Wealth team. You will prepare partners’ self-assessment tax returns, ensure tax compliance, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll supervise two Tax Apprentices and contribute to a collaborative culture, with hybrid and flexible working options. Responsibilities
- Manage a varied personal tax portfolio
- Prepare partners’ self-assessment tax returns
- Arrange payment of tax liabilities and liaise with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with personal tax legislation
- Provide ad hoc personal tax advice
- Supervise and support two Tax Apprentices
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture
Key requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a personal tax environment
- Strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience preparing partners’ self assessment tax returns
- Desirable: experience with trusts, Inheritance Tax, and CCH tax software
