International Accounting Manager – 26305

Overview

In this role you will lead UK and Czech Republic accounting operations to enable accurate financial reporting and compliance. You will partner with US finance, support monthly closes, and ensure GAAP alignment across jurisdictions. You’ll drive treasury interactions, tax initiatives, and intercompany processes while overseeing system implementations and acquisitions integration. You will build and train a capable team, improving controls and driving efficiency. This is a globally focused role with a strong impact on financial integrity and strategic growth.

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly close and financial reporting to US corporate
• Ensure US GAAP and statutory GAAP compliance and coordinate with external auditors
• Manage UK and Czech Republic accounting operations (procurement, travel/expense, payroll, tax, treasury)
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis with FP&A
• Oversee tax compliance and intercompany transfer pricing initiatives
• Lead treasury operations including local banking relationships
• Drive system implementations and integration of acquisitions
• Strengthen internal controls and update accounting policies; train staff

Key requirements

• 10+ years international accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance experience
• Experience with Sage Intacct and other statutory reporting ERP systems
• Bachelor’s in Accounting; Master’s degree and CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and Czech Republic GAAP
• Experience in fast-paced, multi-jurisdictional environments and with public or pre-IPO US-based companies
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management across jurisdictions, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture and meet deadlines
