Overview

In this role you will support Business Banking credit risk decisions by delivering high-quality analyses and insights from data. You’ll work within the Credit Risk team to shape strategies, improve decisioning systems, and mentor junior analysts. You will partner with risk and business areas to ensure responsible lending and sustainable growth. The opportunity focuses on leveraging data to enhance credit decisioning and contribute to an inclusive, ambitious culture. Responsibilities

• Monitor and support credit risk processes and systems
• Interpret data and produce high-quality analyses for partners
• Provide technical leadership to the team and mentor junior analysts
• Contribute to the enhancement of credit decisioning capabilities and data infrastructure
• Interact with risk and business teams to shape initiatives and decisions
• Support management in deputising and shaping risk-related projects

Key requirements

• Strong numerate skills and relevant qualifications (A-Level or Degree)
• Analytical expertise with SAS/SQL and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Credit Risk and Change Management concepts
• Effective communicator able to explain complex issues to varied audiences
• Enthusiasm for problem solving and turning data into actionable insight
