Building Surveyor

Overview

As a Building Surveyor in AECOM’s Leeds team, you will contribute to a growing portfolio across healthcare, commercial, education and university buildings. You’ll report to the senior/management group and collaborate with a national Building Surveying community to deliver surveys and reports. The role includes diverse tasks from condition surveys to cost assessments, with opportunities for travel and international exposure. You’ll work in a flexible environment with hybrid options, mentoring, and a clear path for career progression. This is a chance to shape building performance and risk management within a global infrastructure leader.

Responsibilities

• Contract Administration
• NEC Supervisor (desired)
• Condition Surveys including PPM
• Reinstatement Cost Assessment
• Specification preparation
• AutoCAD Drawing and Design work including measured surveys
• Schedules of Condition
• Use of Microsoft software platforms such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Use of iPad technology

Key requirements

• BSc Hons Building Surveying
• A Chartered Member of the RICS (desired)
• NEC Supervisor accreditation (desirable but not essential)
