Legal Counsel (Live Productions, US / UK Qualified)

Overview

As part of Fever’s Legal Department, you will oversee production-related legal work for a global content slate, ensuring compliant execution of co-produced and licensed events. You will advise cross-functional teams, manage risk, and support incident responses to enable fast, compliant growth. You’ll work closely with Originals and production teams to navigate IP, data privacy, contracts, and regulatory issues across jurisdictions. You’ll shape practical legal guidance in a dynamic, high-growth environment with a global footprint.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements spanning content development, event production, distribution, marketing, sponsorship, and talent engagements; improve contract templates and processes.
• Identify legal risks for business and production teams and design mitigation strategies for multi-jurisdictional events and content initiatives.
• Conduct legal research and translate findings into actionable guidance for leadership and stakeholders.
• Manage legal projects, oversee contract workflows, maintain databases, and assist with internal compliance (IP, data privacy, regulatory matters).
• Support incident management and dispute resolution with litigation specialists and coordinate stakeholder responses.
• Prepare and maintain internal templates, legal guides, and training materials for employees and Legal Department colleagues.

Key requirements

• US or UK barred lawyer with 4+ years PQE, in-house experience in an experience-economy and/or live production company; top-tier law firm experience is a plus
• Solution-oriented, strategic thinker with strong business judgement balancing legal risk with commercial goals
• Native or bilingual English; additional languages a plus
• Ability to take ownership and manage multiple time-sensitive projects
• Effective communicator with emotional intelligence; clear advice to executives and teams
• Self-motivated, adaptable team player able to thrive in a fast-growing organization
