Project Engineer / Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead and deliver projects at the Sellafield site, ensuring work aligns with scope, time, budget, and client requirements. You will manage multi‑workstream tasks, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, and uphold CDM and site safety standards. You’ll monitor progress, control risks and costs, and report on performance while supporting a regulated nuclear environment. This is a hands‑on role with opportunities to develop and progress within a leading organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead task and project execution on the Sellafield site with clients, subcontractors, and trades to meet scope, budget and schedule
• Develop project scope with clients and manage resources while maintaining stakeholder relationships
• Monitor progress, manage risks, change control, and financial performance with the commercial team
• Ensure health and safety compliance including CDM regulations, PPE, and nuclear site procedures
• Record, manage and resolve issues; develop programmes and schedules; provide regular project performance reporting

Key requirements

• Proven experience managing full lifecycle of tasks/projects across multiple workstreams
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations, risk management and health & safety practices
• Commercial awareness with ability to manage budgets and drive value for money
• Experience delivering projects in a regulated environment (nuclear or similar)
