Industrial Placement – Civil Engineering – Water – Leeds

Overview

In this 10–12 month placement you’ll work on real projects from day one, learning from seasoned professionals and building a professional network. You’ll contribute to civil-water projects, gain exposure to site visits and learning sessions, and support design and reporting activities. The role roles you to apply curiosity and creativity to sustainable-water solutions, helping clients and communities. Responsibilities

• Develop drawings and models using AutoCAD or Civil 3D
• Apply Excel for measurements, calculations and costing
• Prepare specifications for surveys or construction
• Review survey deliverables against specifications
• Support design to deliver solutions
• Draft technical reports
• Conduct site visits for data collection and visual surveys

Key requirements

• Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Structural Engineering degree
