Highly Specialist Clinical or Counselling Psychologist

Overview

As a Clinical Psychologist in our Community Psychosis Pathway, you will lead psychological interventions for individuals with psychosis or bipolar disorder within a multi-disciplinary team. You’ll deliver interventions including groups, family work, and CBT, while collaborating with psychologists and therapists in a supportive, innovative environment. Regular supervision and access to professional networks support your development, with opportunities to partner with local services and voluntary sectors. Responsibilities

• Provide psychology services to clients and carers within the Community Psychosis Pathway
• Deliver specialist psychological assessment and therapy for individuals, families and groups
• Offer consultation and advice on psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and carers
• Utilise a range of clinical skills including group work, family interventions, and research/audit
• Support partnership working within team policies and procedures
• Engage in supervision and maintain professional development within a multidisciplinary setting

Key requirements

• HCPC registered or equivalent
• Experience of psychological therapies in secondary care adult mental health
• Experience of providing supervision
• Experience of NICE concordant interventions for psychosis
