Overview
In this role you will join a respected South East London property consultancy to deliver Building Surveying and project delivery services, with a strong residential focus. You will work on surveys, refurbishment, planned maintenance, and project management from inception to completion, with opportunities in fire safety and compliance work. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to provide technical advice and robust specifications. Responsibilities
- Conduct building and condition surveys
- Perform residential building surveying
- Lead refurbishment and improvement projects
- Manage planned maintenance and repair programs
- Provide defect diagnosis and technical advice
- Manage projects from inception to completion
- Prepare specifications, schedules and tender documents
- Engage in fire safety related surveying and projects
Key requirements
- MRICS qualification in Building Surveying
- Experience in a property or surveying consultancy
- Experience working within the residential sector
- Ability to independently manage instructions and deliver projects
- Strong technical report writing and client-facing skills
- Good commercial awareness and ability to manage workload
- Fire safety experience would be highly desirable
