Overview
In this permanent London role within Strategic Resource Management, you enable efficient staffing across client engagements and geographies. You’ll work with Resource Managers and senior stakeholders to refine and simplify management information, supporting data-driven decisions. The role focuses on execution, coordination, and insight generation to align consultants with business priorities. You’ll gain exposure to workforce planning, systems, and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced professional services environment, making a measurable impact on resource availability and utilisation.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate resource requests, availability and assignments across teams and engagements
- Assist in matching consultants to roles based on skills, availability and development goals
- Track staffing changes to minimise resourcing gaps
- Collaborate with Temporary Service Providers Office for engaging temporary providers
- Maintain availability and engagement data in staffing system (Saviom)
- Own and refine utilisation and capacity information for leadership
- Escalate short-term resourcing pressures with context and data
- Prepare for staffing discussions with PMDs and Practice leaders
- Ensure timely updates across resource management systems and support data quality
- Assist in testing, rollout and adoption of new staffing tools (e.g., Open needs, StaffLink)
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement practical improvements
- Support standardisation of ways of working across teams and regions
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation
- Escalate complex decisions when needed
- Interact with consultants and engagement teams
- Carry additional responsibilities as needed
Key requirements
- Strong analysis and presentation capabilities
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with resource management planning software preferred
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience
- Fluency in English; additional European languages a plus
- Experience in professional services or consulting environment preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Attention to detail and data quality discipline
- Ability to identify and implement AI-enabled improvements to management information
