Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will become the go-to technical specialist in a unique amphibious EV environment. You will design, build and test high- and low-voltage wiring harnesses and support electrical system integration across prototype and production vehicles. You’ll improve technical documentation and drive quality and continuous improvement within the electrical processes. You will work closely with the engineering and production teams and benefit from ongoing technical development and a dedicated learning budget. This is a growth-focused position in a family-run business with long-term progression potential.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and test high- and low-voltage wiring harnesses for specialist EV platforms
• Electrical system integration support across prototype and production vehicles
• Improve technical documentation, compliance, quality and safety records
• Work with engineering and production teams on continuous improvement
• 40-hour week, on-site in Slough with occasional project-based flexibility

Key requirements

• High-voltage electrical systems knowledge with wiring harness design/manufacture/testing experience
• Background in automotive, marine, aerospace or similar engineering environment
