Overview
In this role you lead a four-person property management team while managing a personal portfolio of around 50 properties for an established London firm. You will work hands-on with landlords, tenants and contractors, developing leadership across the team and maintaining high service standards. Experience with overseas landlords and WeChat communication is advantageous. The position offers hybrid working and a clear path into broader leadership within a well‑established business.

Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of four property managers with day-to-day guidance
- Manage a personal portfolio of ~50 properties ensuring high service standards
- Hands-on issue resolution, prioritising direct communication over solely email
- Act as escalation point for complex tenant/landlord/property issues
- Monitor team workloads and redistribute work when needed
- Build relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors, including overseas landlords
- Ensure compliance with property and lettings legislation
- Support recruitment, onboarding and development within the team
Key requirements
- Proven experience in residential property management, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role
- Hands-on, proactive approach with quick issue resolution via phone
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of property management processes and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities across a portfolio and team
- WeChat experience would be helpful but is not essential
