Program Manager, Offices of Data Centers

Overview

In this role you lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs from initiation to completion, aligning design, schedule, and budget with business goals. You work with customers, cross-functional partners, and leadership to drive consensus and deliver impactful workspace solutions, including tenant improvements and build-to-suit projects. You demonstrate expert program management during construction and help shape market-focused portfolio strategy while upholding Google’s culture and values. You will coordinate stakeholders across offices, time zones, and teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead program initiation, design development, scheduling, budgeting, quality and risk management
• Serve as SME consultant during construction
• Manage tenant improvement and build-to-suit projects
• Engage customers and cross-functional partners to drive consensus and alignment
• Communicate project status to Googlers and leadership
• Contribute to market-specific portfolio strategy
• Work independently on complex design challenges requiring in-depth analysis

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in program or project management
• 5 years of experience leading cross-functional programs and teams
• 5 years of experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
