Finance Analyst & Digital Finance Specialist

Overview

In this role you will drive automation and digital transformation across Group Finance, partnering with cross‑functional teams to modernise financial processes. You will design scalable, system‑driven solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, IFS Cloud and related tools to improve accuracy and efficiency. You’ll support reporting, treasury and audit activities while promoting continuous improvement. If you’re passionate about finance and new technologies, you’ll help shape a more data‑driven, efficient finance function.

Responsibilities

• Lead automation initiatives to streamline financial activities and reduce manual effort
• Design and implement automated workflows and scalable finance processes
• Support management accounting, financial accounting and treasury activities
• Document workflows, assess improvements and deliver practical value
• Create reporting templates and assist with treasury and audit reporting
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to share knowledge and promote best practices
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend new tools
• Provide coverage for other finance team members as required

Key requirements

• Proactive, analytically minded finance professional
• Strong understanding of core finance principles (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, reconciliations)
• Experience with project‑based or long‑term contract environments advantageous
• Experience with financial reporting, management accounts, audit activities and data analysis
• Comfort with automating processes using digital tools; willingness to learn (Power Platform, Copilot)
• Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to work across levels
• Adaptable, organised, discreet with confidentiality
