Lead Engineer – Worship Street

Overview

In this role you lead maintenance and fault-diagnosis activities for the Worship Street site, ensuring reliable electrical and mechanical systems and compliant safe-working practices. You will operate within the CPM team to deliver nationwide facilities management, balancing reactive and planned maintenance. You drive safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with on-site and subcontractor teams. Responsibilities

• Maintain and service the site’s electrical infrastructure and diagnose/repair faults
• Deliver planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, and fault analysis within SLAs
• Inspect, test, adjust, and maintain electrical plant and systems per contract requirements
• Apply Safe Systems of Work and assist with subcontractor inductions to ensure safe deployment on site
• Respond to reactive works and perform additional tasks per engineering standards and HASAWA
• Promote and uphold high health and safety standards in line with policies and Injury-Free Environment

Key requirements

• Technically qualified in mechanical or electrical discipline with strong Building Services Engineering experience
• Good understanding of statutory compliance, especially HVAC and water treatment
• IOSH Working Safely qualification or equivalent health & safety certification
• Proven customer-facing experience with strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with good time management and organisational ability
• Adaptable, logical, and evidence-driven with knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements
