Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack Applications – Ratings Technology (London)

Overview

In this role, you design and build mission-critical, full-stack applications for Ratings Technology, enabling analysts and executives to derive insights. You will shape technical direction, architecture, and AI-driven workflows in a scalable, cloud-native environment. Collaborating with product managers and stakeholders, you’ll push the boundaries of innovation while delivering high-quality user experiences. Responsibilities

• Design and deliver robust, scalable full-stack applications using Java/Springboot, C#/.NET, Python and React
• Lead architectural decisions, establish technical standards, and explore AI/ML integration to transform workflows
• Mentor engineers, partner with product managers and analysts, and promote experimentation and psychological safety
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, perform architecture reviews, and address performance and scalability challenges
• Shape team processes and drive strategic technical initiatives across multiple teams
• Provide expert troubleshooting and maintain system performance in fast-paced Agile environments

Key requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on enterprise application development
• Proficiency in Java/Springboot, C#/.NET, Python and React
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent)
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Experience delivering in cloud-native, microservices architectures
• Familiarity with AI/ML integration and experimentation (desirable)
