Associate (1-2 PQE) – Non Contentious Construction – Bristol

In this role you will support high-value development projects by drafting and negotiating construction contracts, advising on development agreements, and conducting due diligence on real estate transactions. Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft construction contracts (including JCT amendments)
• Prepare and negotiate professional appointments and warranties
• Deliver construction due diligence on major real estate transactions
• Support the negotiation of development agreements
• Guide clients through evolving legislation, including the building safety regime
• Help clients manage risk while achieving commercial, regulatory and sustainability goals

Key requirements

• 1-2 years’ PQE in non-contentious construction
• Experience advising on construction matters within real estate development
• Proactive, solutions-driven mindset
• Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail
• Clear and confident communication with clients
