Overview

In this role, you support the Director of Sales to lead the Sales & Events team across Hyatt Regency Manchester and Hyatt House Manchester, driving revenue and profitability. You will cultivate corporate relationships, develop new business, and collaborate with Revenue, Marketing and Operations to optimise overall hotel performance. The position offers a chance to shape commercial strategy in a dynamic, hospitality-driven environment. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Group Sales, Event Sales and Planning across both hotels
  • Drive revenue growth through proactive sales strategies and business development activities
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, agencies, event organisers, universities and key business partners
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through networking, prospecting and client engagement
  • Collaborate with Revenue, Marketing and Operations teams to maximise total hotel performance
  • Coach, develop and inspire the Sales team to achieve objectives
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and strengthen market position

Key requirements

  • Has proven experience in hotel sales, events or commercial leadership
  • Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills
