Civil Design Engineer

Overview

As Civil Drainage Design Engineer, you will lead drainage and highway design projects, focusing on residential developments and broader sectors such as commercial, education and industrial. You’ll deliver underground drainage systems and adoptable roads, working within a UK engineering consultancy setting. You’ll apply SUDS, MicroDrainage and Civils 3D to create practical, compliant designs that meet project goals. This is an opportunity to shape infrastructure on varied schemes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive deliverables and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from small to large scope
• Design infrastructure for residential, with follow-on work in commercial, education and industrial sectors
• Create underground drainage systems and adoptable roads designs

Key requirements

• Proficiency in SUDS
• Proficiency in MicroDrainage
• Proficiency in Highways
• Proficiency in Civils 3D (or equivalent)
• 1–3 years of drainage or highways design experience in a UK engineering consultancy
