Careers Digital Information Officer (REDEPLOYEE APPLICANTS ONLY)

Overview

In this role, you will support and develop online careers systems to give City St George’s students and graduates seamless access to digital careers support. You will work within the Careers & Employability Directorate to optimise CareersHub and related platforms, enhancing user experience. The role combines system support, content management and training across a busy, cross-functional environment. A strong focus on analytics, accessibility and emerging tech will help shape our digital employability services.

Responsibilities

• Provide careers system support: diagnose problems, resolve issues, and escalate to IT/vendors as needed
• Optimise configuration and design of CareersHub and other website services; review analytics to guide development
• Manage and update content on CareersHub and the Careers Intranet (SharePoint); train staff and document good practice

Key requirements

• Content management experience; web content curation
• Knowledge of basic HTML and accessibility standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Interest in technology and AI with ability to drive user-centric improvements
• Ability to identify customer needs, resolve issues and escalate appropriately
• Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
