Surveyor – Senior Surveyor, Residential Investment

Overview

In this role you will join the Residential Valuation team in London to deliver a broad range of valuations and advisory services. You will work with senior valuer mentors, producing RICS Red Book valuations and market appraisals for secured lending and investment purposes. You will prepare detailed reports and provide commercially focused guidance to institutional, banking, and investor clients, while contributing to team growth. The opportunity spans high-value assets, PRS, portfolios, and major development schemes across London and the South East. This role offers a clear path to advance as a Chartered Surveyor within a growing specialist team.

Responsibilities

• Perform RICS Red Book valuations and market appraisals
• Valuations for secured lending/loan security purposes
• Residential investment and portfolio valuations
• Valuations of high-value residential assets
• Valuations of PRS and income-producing investments
• Valuation of residential development sites and large schemes
• Provide development and strategic consultancy advice
• Prepare detailed valuation reports and offer commercially focused advice
• Support the growth of the Residential Valuation team

Key requirements

• MRICS qualification
• Knowledge of RICS Red Book valuation standards
• Experience in secured lending/loan security valuations
• Exposure to residential investment, development or portfolio valuation (advantageous)
• Strong analytical and report-writing skills
• Good knowledge of the London and/or South East residential property market
• Commercial and client-focused approach
• Interest in developing career within a growing specialist valuation team
