CRHTT Advanced Clinical Lead

Overview

In this Band 7 Advanced Clinical Lead role, you will provide advanced psychological formulations and contribute to planning and managing complex cases within the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team. You’ll work autonomously within professional guidelines while supporting other teams through treatment pathways and outcomes evaluation. The role includes leadership, supervision, and driving service development using research and audit skills. A regular supervision framework and development opportunities support your professional growth, with a requirement to work a shift rotation including nights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ongoing specialist assessments for adults under CRHTT care
• Establish and deliver clinical supervision (group and individual) for CRHT practitioners
• Develop formulations integrating assessment information with the team
• Implement a range of interventions for individuals, carers, families and groups
• Provide specialist professional advice and consultation to other professionals on formulations, diagnoses, and treatment plans
• Undertake risk assessment and risk management within CRHTT and inter-agency policies
• Act as lead clinician for assessments and safeguarding of vulnerable adults guidance

Key requirements

• Degree or equivalent professional qualifications
• Post-qualification training in risk management
• Non-medical prescribing qualification
• Experience in acute mental health settings
• Clinical leadership in a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience in workload management and prioritisation
• Clinical supervision training/experience
• Interagency liaison experience
• UK professional registration
• Knowledge of MH Act, MCA, Safeguarding policies

• Ability to develop therapeutic relationships with difficult-to-engage clients
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving
• Good interpersonal and collaboration skills across teams
• Basic IT skills (email, word processing, spreadsheets)
• Knowledge of Care Programme Approach and Care Planning
• Understanding of Recovery Principles
