Senior Technical Program Manager – Connectivity Transformation

Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end network upgrades and infrastructure changes across the M&S distribution centre estate. You will coordinate cross-functional delivery plans with technology teams, suppliers and logistics colleagues to align solutions with business priorities. You’ll govern delivery, manage risks, and ensure smooth transition while minimizing disruption to operations. This role offers the chance to shape critical infrastructure in a fast-moving retail environment and work with senior stakeholders to drive transformation. You will contribute to a more connected, efficient logistics network that supports M&S’s digital retail ambitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of network upgrades and infrastructure changes across the distribution centre estate.
• Develop integrated delivery plans and coordinate activities and dependencies across technology programmes, suppliers and operational teams.
• Partner with GIST, engineering, architecture and logistics to align solutions, deployment schedules and business priorities.
• Champion governance and proactive risk management with clear progress, issues and decisions.
• Coordinate suppliers, site deployments and transition activities to deliver outcomes with minimal disruption to logistics operations.

Key requirements

• Experience leading large-scale infrastructure, network, connectivity or technology transformation programmes.
• Ability to coordinate complex, multi-site deployments in operational environments.
• Strong relationship-building, clear technical communication and stakeholder influence at senior levels.
• Experience managing programme plans, dependencies, risks, governance and third-party partners.
• Experience in retail, logistics, supply chain or large-scale operations is a plus.
