Senior Cloud Native Security Architect

Overview

As a Senior Cloud Native Security Architect, you work with Idira customers to plan and implement complex security use cases in Kubernetes-centric environments. You’ll leverage deep cloud security expertise to guide deployments and influence product direction, collaborating across operations, security, and engineering teams. This remote-friendly role focuses on solving intricate customer problems with pragmatic, value-driven solutions. Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements: scope work, direct team members, serve as primary stakeholder liaison, run calls/workshops, provide updates
• Pro-actively initiate and contribute to internal initiatives
• Consistently apply cloud security best practices and guidance
• Engage in team/group strategy and goal setting
• Act as a peer mentor, giving regular feedback for development

Key requirements

• Experience engaging with stakeholders at various levels (senior management to ICs)
• Ability to translate between diverse domains (infosec, operations, product R&D, leadership)
• Comfort solving complex, ambiguous problems and designing pragmatic solutions
• Empathetic, collaborative communication; positive, patient demeanor
• Ability to switch between high-level architecture and implementation details
• Strong quick-learning capability to become SME in unfamiliar domains
• Calm under pressure, capable of de-escalating high-stress situations
