** Public & Personal Safety Training Officer

Overview

In this role you will lead and deliver Public & Personal Safety Training within the Immigration Enforcement Operational Training Academy. You will design and quality-assure training, manage courses, liaise with internal and external partners, and support senior leadership. The role involves travel nationwide to deliver training and uphold high professional standards. It offers the chance to shape frontline enforcement capabilities and work within a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training courses and manage course activity for the business
• Design, develop and standardise training programs and course materials
• Travel nationally to deliver training (overnights in hotels)
• Represent OTA and Immigration Enforcement with internal/external partners
• Support Senior Management Team within OTA
• Liaise with multiple partners and customers
• Cover other training delivery areas as required
• Complete mandatory CPD and trainer/officer pathways
• Carry out specialist workstreams such as project work and course development

Key requirements

• PPST Level 3 trained and in ticket
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Excellent leadership and written and verbal communication skills
• Experience of providing learning and development solutions
• Experience of delivering learning interventions for an organisation
