Overview
In this role you will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload within a busy Bristol office, supporting growth of the property department and mentoring junior colleagues. You will build strong relationships with estate agents, brokers and clients while upholding high professional standards. The position blends complex casework with client development, offering a hybrid working setup and a clear path to impact through cross-team collaboration and process improvements.

Responsibilities
- Manage a broad, complex residential conveyancing caseload (freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, lease extensions, transfers of equity, new build transactions)
- Advise on SDLT requirements and unregistered property matters
- Supervise, coach, and develop junior team members
- Maintain strong relationships with estate agents, brokers and clients
- Ensure compliance and high professional standards
- Support business development and nurture introducer relationships
- Assist with governance and process improvements within the department
Key requirements
- At least 3 years’ experience running a complex residential conveyancing caseload
- Strong technical knowledge across the full range of residential property matters
- Proven ability to win new business and nurture introducer relationships
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Confidence working independently and under pressure
- Proactive, self-motivated approach
- Ability to mentor and inspire junior colleagues
- Strong IT proficiency, including legal case management systems
