In this role you will contribute to a High Quality Specialist Diagnostic Service in Biochemistry across three hospital sites. You will develop and apply specialist diagnostic techniques while collaborating with a forward-looking team. The post offers training and development within a modern lab setting, with rotation across sites and out-of-hours service after training. Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge and skills in a range of specialist diagnostic techniques within Biochemistry
• Rotate across Gateshead, South of Tyne, and Sunderland sites and participate in out-of-hours service after training
• Contribute to delivering a high-quality diagnostic service for patient care
• Engage with a forward-thinking department that emphasizes training and staff development
• Collaborate with cross-site teams to maintain service quality and reliability

Key requirements

• HCPC Registration
• IBMS Accredited BSc in Biomedical Science or equivalent
• Previous NHS Laboratory Experience

• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop technical knowledge
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
• Experience with highly specialised laboratory techniques
• Experience in NHS Biochemistry Laboratory
