Manager, Data Management & Visualisation

Overview

In this role you lead the data operations practice for one of our largest clients, driving a comprehensive data management and quality program. You’ll oversee reporting solutions, guide cross-functional teams, and shape data governance and business rules. Your work tightens data integrity, enables accurate insights, and partners with Planning and Technology teams to deliver impactful data solutions. It’s a strategic, high-impact role within a fast-paced agency environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and execution of a data management and integrity program
• Oversee reporting application design, development and delivery
• Manage cross-functional teams to resolve complex data issues and set priorities
• Define data cleansing rules and QA processes
• Facilitate progress through regular status meetings and sessions
• Ensure use of industry data standards for quality and compliance
• Act as SME for data quality and business rules projects
• Develop targeted solutions for data quality and operational inefficiencies
• Supervise analysts and offshore teams on data operations and QA tasks
• Foster relationships with Planning, Channel Leads and Data Transformation Technology teams
• Provide strategic direction to the Data Operations team and mentor members
• Collaborate with senior leadership to implement innovative data solutions
• Lead high-impact projects and support client management and process improvement

Key requirements

• Experience in an advertising agency with Ad Operations, Analytics or Digital Investment preferred
• Experience in data governance and data quality in Data Warehousing, ETL and BI environments
• Experience in Business Analysis
• In-depth knowledge of digital, search, social and offline media channels
• Strong written and verbal communication and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills with multi-priority management
• Comfortable with budgets, numbers and scoping exercises
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to troubleshoot data quality, governance and operational issues
• Experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional teams
