Overview
As Director of Retail Marketing at Vertu, you will lead the strategy and delivery of marketing across New Cars, Vans, Motorcycles and Motability to drive volume, value and cost efficiency. You’ll partner with Operational Directors, Franchise Partners and manufacturers to shape campaigns, launches and media plans that boost sales while maintaining brand and OEM governance. You’ll oversee investment decisions and measure impact through ROI and attribution in a multi-brand, franchise-led environment. This is a high-impact, leadership role at one of the UK’s leading automotive retailers, offering growth, development opportunities and visibility with senior leadership.

Responsibilities
- Lead marketing strategy for multiple product categories and ensure volume and quality opportunities meet targets and cost-per-sale objectives.
- Oversee group-wide events, retention opportunities and alignment with retail sales plans across several brands.
- Provide strategic oversight of OEM marketing requirements to maintain compliance while driving growth.
- Direct advertising and media strategy, managing priorities, budgets and investment for maximum return.
Key requirements
- Director-level experience leading large-scale Retail Marketing, Category Marketing or Media functions.
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to influence executive stakeholders.
- Expertise in marketing effectiveness, ROI, attribution and budget optimization.
