Overview

In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams to shape long-term strategic plans for the UK water sector, collaborating with clients, regulators, and stakeholders. You’ll translate regulatory and environmental considerations into investment pathways, while guiding shorter-term business strategies and asset management planning. You’ll drive technical excellence, sustainability, and continuous improvement across complex programs. Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop strategic plans for the water sector
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, regulators, contractors, and internal stakeholders
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and risk mitigation to ensure successful delivery
• Ensure technical compliance and quality
• Promote and drive innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement across project delivery
• Create and promote a collaborative team environment

Key requirements

• Established track record in developing and leading strategic plans for UK Water sectors (Surface Water, Flood, Drainage or Wastewater)
• Experience with water resources, wastewater resources, or bioresources planning in the UK and Ireland
• Familiarity with UK water sector regulation
• Degree related to engineering or science (relevant degree)
