Cost Manager- Bristol, Cardiff & Plymouth

Overview

In this role you will support UK infrastructure projects by delivering accurate cost management and commercial oversight. You will work with cross‑functional teams to monitor budgets, forecasts and cash flow, and to manage contract changes within governance. You will drive value engineering and ensure final accounts are negotiated in line with objectives. This is a hands‑on role in a collaborative practice that prioritises sustainable, high‑impact infrastructure. You will contribute to delivering Net Zero outcomes through effective cost control and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Administering contracts in line with project objectives and policies
• Providing accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion within budget
• Managing cost variance, contract cash flow and timely applications
• Collaborating with client and contractor teams on KPIs, programme performance and value engineering
• Managing contract changes and governance to adopt best practice
• Improving forecast and budget accuracy
• Providing commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders
• Negotiating and agreeing final accounts
• Leading people and commissions as needed
