Overview
In this role you will manage a varied private client caseload and deliver high-quality service within a well-established Bath firm. You will work closely with clients to build lasting relationships while supporting departmental planning and knowledge sharing. The position combines technical private client work with mentoring and collaboration across the team, contributing to growth and professional development. You will help shape private client services and ensure client-focused outcomes in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload across private client matters (wills, trusts, estate planning, probate, powers of attorney, tax and succession)
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships
- Support departmental planning and business development
- Share knowledge and best practices across the team
- Mentor junior colleagues while maintaining autonomy in your own work
Key requirements
- 2 years’ PQE in private client law
- Strong technical skills across a broad range of private client matters
- Client-focused, proactive approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Confidence managing files independently
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
