Finance Analyst

Overview

As Finance Analyst for the UK, you will partner with cross‑functional teams to manage OPEX and contribute to planning, forecasting and commercial analysis. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate reporting and support business decisions that optimise resources. The role blends financial control with strategic input, offering exposure to month‑end close and P&L activities in a fast‑growing global beauty business. This is a hands‑on opportunity to shape financial processes in a dynamic, values‑driven team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with OPEX and CAPEX budgeting and forecasting with Marketing, VM, PR, Store Design, Store Operations and Training inputs
• Lead monthly meetings with cost centre budget holders to ensure accurate expenditure recognition
• Validate and post month‑end journals for UK and Global management accounts
• Prepare month‑end commentary on actuals vs budget/forecast for Senior Management
• Identify risks and opportunities in forecast and drive cost optimization with stakeholders
• Contribute to business casing for new opportunities
• Assist in P&L files preparation for Senior Management review
• Enforce PO policy and train new starters
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Provide ad hoc analysis to support Senior Finance Manager UK

Key requirements

• Part qualified in CIMA, ACCA, ACA
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, SumIf) and ability to build models
• Experience forecasting
• Commercial and analytical mindset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for senior stakeholders
• Comfortable dealing with finance and non‑finance stakeholders
• Logical, methodical thinking; proactive and highly organized
• Experience with ANAPLAN, Looker, NetSuite
• Retail/FMCG experience is desirable
