Project Finance Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead study budgeting and financial oversight for clinical projects within PSI. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare proposals, sponsor contracts, and manage budgets and accruals across project lifecycles. You’ll support contract management and ensure timely, accurate reporting to sponsors. This position offers hybrid work in Oxford or remote UK and a chance to contribute to high-quality clinical programs in a globally focused CRO.

Responsibilities

• Develop study budgets for proposals and change orders
• Manage budgets throughout project duration, including accruals and invoices in internal systems
• Prepare sponsor agreements and change orders, and develop payment schedules
• Set up and maintain project-specific timesheets and reconcile actual vs budget costs

Key requirements

• At least 3 years experience in project budgeting and financial analysis in a CRO
• CEFR level C1 in English
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
• Strong analytical, communication/negotiation, organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to communicate with all involved departments and sponsors
• Ability to produce accurate and timely information/reports
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Ability to train others
