Opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with Inventor or SolidWorks experience to undertake a technically varied role in support of a key project.
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a solid background in Inventor or SolidWorks to work on a New Product Development project, undertaking detailed conceptual design and supporting the complete project life cycle.
As Contract Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have the ability to :
- Undertake Mechanical Design of New Product Development (complete product life cycle)
- Undertake detailed designs using 3D CAD (SolidWorks or Inventor)
- Concept Generation
- Produce Documentation to support Development
- Knowledge of manufacturing methods
The successful Mechanical Design Engineer will have;
- Proven mechanical design experience within a fast-paced development environment (Ideally 4-5 years min)
- Experience working on instrumentation or complex bespoke equipment/machinery
- 3D CAD – SolidWorks or Inventor
- Full Product Life-cycle Design Experience.
Likely to suit individuals with a background as (but not limited to) Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Senior Mechanical Engineer, Lead Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
