About The Role
At Strategic Insurance Services, a part of SRG – you’ll be responsible for auditing and monitoring distributors, selling agents and third-party claims providers, helping to maintain strong governance, compliance and risk controls across delegated and outsourced insurance activities.
What you’ll be doing
- Conducting risk-based desktop and onsite audits of distributors, selling agents and third-party partners.
- Reviewing governance arrangements, operational controls and oversight frameworks.
- Auditing third-party claims handling processes, customer communications and quality controls.
- Delivering compliance monitoring reviews across sales activity, customer journeys and claims practices.
- Identifying risks, documenting findings and tracking remediation activity.
- Producing audit reports, management information and governance reporting.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll bring experience in insurance compliance, audit, governance or conduct risk and be confident working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in insurance compliance, audit, oversight, governance, claims auditing or conduct risk.
- Knowledge of FCA regulations, ICOBS, Consumer Duty and TCF principles.
- Experience conducting desktop and onsite audits.
- Experience overseeing third-party distributors, TPAs or outsourced claims arrangements.
- Strong risk assessment, investigation and report-writing skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to provide constructive challenge.
